🇬🇧 | Como 1907 is thrilled to announce the signing of versatile midfielder and breakout Swiss top tier player, 22 year old Samuel Ballet from FC Winterthur on a three and a half year contract.
The Swiss Youth International player who is a product of one of the best academies in Switzerland (BSC Young Boys) will reunite with former teammate and recent signing Jean-Pierre Nsame who he won the league title with in his debut professional season.
This season alone Ballet has already scored seven times with three assists in 17 appearances for FC Winterthur.
His addition to the team is a brilliant coup for Como 1907 as Caretaker Manager Osian explains: “Samuel took the Swiss top flight by storm in his first professional season. He scored 10 minutes into his Young Boys debut and is a real talent, bringing athleticism, power, silky dribbling and decisiveness in the final third. He’s versatile, playing down the left or the right and will bring width and dynamism to the team.”

🇮🇹 | Il Como 1907 è entusiasta di annunciare l’ingaggio del centrocampista svizzero Samuel Ballet, 22 anni, proveniente dall’FC Winterthur, con un contratto di tre anni e mezzo.
Il giocatore delle giovanili svizzere, prodotto di una delle migliori Academy elvetiche (BSC Young Boys), si ricongiungerà con l’ex compagno di squadra e recente acquisto Jean-Pierre Nsame, con cui ha vinto il campionato nella sua prima stagione da professionista.
Solo in questa stagione Ballet, centrocampista versatile e di prima fascia, ha già segnato sette volte con tre assist in 17 presenze per l’FC Winterthur.
Il suo arrivo in squadra è un brillante colpo per il Como 1907, come spiega l’allenatore ad interim Osian Roberts: “Samuel ha conquistato la massima serie svizzera nella sua prima stagione da professionista. Ha segnato 10 minuti dopo il suo debutto nello Young Boys ed è un vero talento, dotato di atletismo, potenza, dribbling fluido e grande intelligenza tattica offensiva. È versatile, può giocare a sinistra o a destra e porterà ampiezza e dinamismo alla squadra”.
