Ineos may decide to sack ETH or equally keep ETH because of financial constraints and the profit and sustainability rules. Sacking him and the coaches means paying them off. Not qualifying for Europe means less revenue and also less sponsorship and penalties from existing sponsorship deals. All of that would be in the loss column and restrict how much investment could be made in the summer unless they can offload at a profit the current playing squad and only home grown players like Rashford would be pure profit. Making any kind of profit on a lot of our players will be hard given the stupid money we paid for them (and that in itself was so the Glazers could leverage more money against higher priced assets) so the decision will be far wider than a football one sadly. The club has been destroyed.
