I wouldn't rely on Giroud as a starting striker, but he's been a solid plan b and spark off the bench for us in big games. Seems to always score when we need a goal. Wish him the best.
Conte's mistake was letting Costa go.. Costa maximized his chances and Morata can't hold the ball in the final 3rd, let alone find the net.
Believe it or not this guy Olivier is a key player when it comes to offensive gameplay in french. He will take france atleast to the semi finals of world cup. If leaving arsenal makes it possible for him to persue his dream of being in world cup 2018 then let him. I remember giroud talking in an interview about the world cup 98, how it was a great thing to happen for france and that he wants to be part of something that wonderful.

Giroud scored 105 goals for arsenal and 201 in all clubs. Like they said, he averages almost 1 goal every 2 games for france having scored 31 in 75 games. Alvaro Morata has 73 totals goals in his First team first division club career, and 13 goals for his country.
Giroud is highly underrated, especially for his 1-2 play, and how he is probably the best striker in the world in the air.
