Manchester United are desperate for positive injury news ahead of Sunday’s clash with Arsenal, as they are hoping for return of up to six players this weekend.
The hammering at Crystal Palace underlined just how depleted Erik Ten Hag’s team is at this point in time, with 11 players unavailable to the Red Devils.
However, there could be a handful of returning stars for their next game.
United have welcomed Lisandro Martinez and Marcus Rashford back into first-team training at Carrington.
They were captured working with the main group on Thursday after spells on the sidelines.
Martinez has not played since the 1 1 draw at Brentford in March and has only made 11 appearances all season due to injury.
Rashford was hurt in the Emirates FA Cup semi-final against Coventry City at Wembley but is closing on a return to action.
Luke Shaw, Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial are all in training whereas Scott McTominay only narrowly missed out against Palace.
