These US players simply are NOT good enough to compete at the international levels. Couple months prior to the World Cup, they also did not perform that well at the friendly games. Japan beat them by 2-0 in Germany in September 23, 2022. Their loss (3-1) to the Netherland at the round of 16 was not a shock, or an upset at this WC. It's not helpful to make these young players feel they should be compete in the next and further rounds. During the game, they make several critical mistakes, especially in their defense. The US media was horribly near-sighted in their coverage of this WC that they make it sound like the US team is on its way to victory in the tournament! This commentator is a fan of the US team. He is also a soccer player for years. He only wants to comment based on facts, no bias.
Nothing to be proud of. Adams and Jedi were terrible in the last game. I have to say that it looked like they didn’t even try to play defense and the funny thing is the Dutch didn’t look
needed to try to play offense.. too easy.
Pulisic just crumbles under pressure, they will need more shoulders to carry the responsibility.
