This is my heartfelt apology to Kai Havertz after I slated him following his move to Arsenal in the summer and criticised his early performances for Mikel Arteta’s side.

  1. Havertz is confusing to me. He scored in a big game but I feel like he has that insecurities in him, his body gesture and character maybe, I don't know. I can't blame him though because not everyone can settled in a foreign country instantly moreover with that price tag when he move to England.
I remember his terrible missed kick when he newly play in Arsenal and the terrible trick shots in pre season in the US. And I thought wow this guy really needed a boost of confidence.
Arsenal just the right place to fix that and just might save his career. Arteta and the the players know it that's why they gave the penalty for Havertz first goal for Arsenal. Kudos to them. As an Arsenal fan I hope the best for Havertz, I'm happy to see him growing as a player to become our number 9.

  2. The form we have now in 2024, Supposing we were that good in 2023 without the december slip off, we would have been many points clear of City by now and basically cruising towards the title

    We go again next year

CF, RW, LCM and a LB or CB and I'm going to cook again 😊

  3. Anyone else remember when he did something similar for Timo Werner then like 2 videos later shit on him again? lol rory i appreciate you, but damn you flip flop more than a fish outta water

  4. Saying "Arteta struggled with were best to deploy Kai Havertz" is wrong. He wouldn't have invested 60M if he isn't aware about his best position. Played him in midfield because Arsenal had injuries in midfield (Jorginho, Partey) early in the season.

  5. Kai Havertz only thrives in a happy camp. I'm sure if Mason Mount went to Arsenal instead of Man Utd he would have had a completely different season.

He'll never pull you out the mud, as we saw with Chelsea. Infact Arsenal fans caught a glimpse of this in their games against Bayern Munich. His name was trending on twitter because he was so bad.

65 million in the bank. Arsenal will soon see. Remember, he won the European Cup in his first season with us, then went on to be utterly useless.

  6. This is another damning indictment of your football knowledge, Rory.

How you couldn’t see Havertz’ natural talent (touch, movement, hold up, link up, heading) at Chelsea always baffled me.

  7. Arteta does deserve more credit than he gets. It was him who trusted Xhaka and turned it around with his performances. Today Xhaka is one of the main contributors to Leverkusen success. Today it's Kai!

  8. Massive Kai Havertz fan but don't get ahead of yourselves lads 🤣👏 Love Kai, love his play style, he physicality but he has his ups and downs and at the end of the day you just have to tally it all up.

He still has a lot to prove but I can only hope that he'll get the coaching and support he needs to really develop into a WC talent. He has all the physical and mental traits he just needs to keep working on it.

  9. You ignored the one big contribution to Arsenal that no other striker can give Arsenal; his defensive ability from the front. Watch, when Harverz energy dissipates in a game or when he is tacgeted by opposing team, our middlefield looses shape.

  10. You seem like a decent and honest guy but please get over yourself a little. Most of the Chelsea fans couldn't see over their own noses when you were winning stuff so – with all due respect, there's no need for you to do this! We don't need Chelsea fans telling us what we already know in a condescending manner such as this.
You are right about "square peg in round hole" bit but there are and have been lots of players disposed of or shoehorned by the bosses!
PS – Timo Werner is clearly not rubbish! It's just another case of short sighted management.
