Chelsea fans are furious as Chelsea’s PENALTY for Jack Grealish’s HAND BALL was robbed vs Man City

  1. It's obvious to any fan what's going on, regardless of who your team is. It's bad enough cooking the books to gain a financial advantage, but now City have the refs and VAR in their pocket and have done all season. I've seen some ridiculously bizarre decisions that always seem to work out in City's favour on the day, or go against their nearest challengers in the league table in separate other games. It's a three pronged assault on the actual league table, to make sure they win no matter what. Anyone that cannot see this blatant cheating is deluded.

  2. Iโ€™m a neutral and that was a stonewall hand ball.

The fact itโ€™s from a direct free kick and not open play, the fact that the attacking team free kick was shot towards goal, on target and it was blocked illegally by the defenders arm/hamd and the fact that Grealish arm moved away from his body (naturally) but then back (unnaturally) stopping the ball continue its trajectory towards the goal!

How is that not a penalty?

Surely in a free kick situation, with regards to handball in the pen box, when the free kick is going towards the goal, the advantage or benefit, should go towards the attacking team who were stoped illegally from scoring in open play rather than the defending team who unfairly stopped the attack in the first place.

Even Grealish knew it. The look on his face said it all.

The officials should explain this decision.

  3. I donโ€™t think Grealish did it on purpose but thatโ€™s not the point. The wall is there to block the ball but only by using legitimate parts of the body. The hand can no more be used to block a shot than it can be used to score a goal. This is not even debatable. Penalty. End of. Oliver disgraces the PGMOL and the Premiership.

    And football.
