Perth Glory’s 21-year-old wonderkid Jamie Maclaren set the A-League alive during the 2014/15 season scoring a sensational 9 goals in 7 starts while amassing 20 appearances overall including a memorable hat-trick in a 3-1 victory over Melbourne City.

Maclaren has also impressed at international level scoring a phenomenal 6 goals in 5 matches for Australia U23s while also boasting an impressive 9 goals in 17 appearances for Australia U20s.

The former Blackburn Rovers youth product is well known for his blistering pace and superb composure infront of goal while also being known for his powerful shots and tireless workrate. These attributes accompanied with his emphatic goalscoring exploits this campaign has alerted a number of clubs around the world for his services.

Maclaren is currently in a legal battle with Perth Glory because of their refusal to let him leave this summer despite previously declaring that they would let Maclaren go in the summer.

So it looks like the the 21-year-old is all set for a return to Europe or a move to another A-League side this summer after his scintillating campaign this year. There is no doubt Maclaren would be an asset to any side due to his electric pace and ability to get in behind defenders and break lines which has caused defences throughout the A-League nightmares all season long.
