  2. Mate, I think you need to do more research on what plyometrics actually are.

    What you referenced as box jumps are in fact a plyometrics exercise. This shouldnโ€™t be done until you learn how to land with a load (in this case body weight) and then you can progress onto the load and explosions stage of plyometrics.

    What you referred to as plyometrics is simply a reverse lunge basically.
