  1. The issue isn’t VAR. it is e way England uses it and it kind seems as if England wants it to fail so they can revert to what was and match fixing can become easier.

  2. Yeah it needs to go away so you could get offside goals 😂
Acting all like without VAR he could even make offside runs for possible goals .. joke 😂
You couldn't even win a ciga if you tried to

  3. I agree. 5 years ago VAR seemed like a good idea at the time to make sure big mistakes get overturned but the execution of it has been disasterous. Most English refs don’t know how to use the technology properly. Might as well just scrap VAR for now at least

  4. If VAR was used properly van der vens goal would have stood v Arsenal (stay with on field decision unless obvious error) and we'd have a pen for Kulu. If you have it and cant use it properly it can go.

  5. Yes. There should be a movement of fans in stadiums to get rid of VAR. It is the worst thing to happen to football in a very long time. It's not about how it is implemented, it is the system itself. I want to return to the days of people being able to properly celebrate a goal at the point it hits the back of the net. I want a return to people actually giving refs some leeway to make bad decisions. With VAR in place people expect everything to be perfect and it never can be.

  6. It is bad for this simple reason. People can forgive human errors (referees) making mistakes when something happens quickly and they only have one angle of it in realtime. However, you cannot forgive mistakes when they have MANY angles and essentially unlimited time and still make a mistake.

  7. Funny how in every sport that uses video and science and technology, there’s no issue at all. None zero.

    Faster sports
    Rougher sports
    Sports with more players
Sports with smaller goal and faster play

    Funny it’s JUST football.

Hey football fans, let’s have a rope across the finish line again at the 100 metres yeah

  8. I'm surprised sky let the comment section fly on this one , var needs to go asap , to many flaws and it's causing more problems than solving them. I'm all in for goal line technology but scrap var

  9. The way to protest VAR is for players to stop celebrating scoring a goal. Act like you've just won a corner. Wait for the VAR result. It will kill the highlights reel for the sponsors and advertising.
