I’d much rather have Werner as a winger than Grealish. Werner actually gets at defenders, goes down the line, and puts in extremely dangerous crosses. Grealish is a possession merchant that just passes backwards and sideways. He literally never actually takes on his opposition defender and is incredibly predictable.
Werner is not expected to be the everyday starter but a good squad player. And that, he’ll do a fine job.
