PGMOL chief Howard Webb explains how learnings throughout the season meant Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana was penalised for an incident against Burnley, following a similar incident which went unpunished earlier in the season.

Referees love favouring Man Utd with VAR yet Man Utd fans love acting like victims and think VAR against them when it’s not, Typical Mancs.😂
WOW WHAT ANALYSING THE MOST OBVIOUS PEN OF ALL TIME
That wasn't going to be a goal anyway.
Why are they only showing the ones that were clear pens where they can say "Yup VAR did a good job". Why not show the ones they potentially got wrong?
Onana get away with this exact thing at the start if the season against Wolves, swings and roundabouts
If something is a penalty in one game but not another, whether they were the same day in different parts of the country or months ago, you have not applied the rules consistently (learnings or none) therefore this shouldn't have been a penalty either. Give it next season by all means and say you've changed the protocol. I know it's an old joke but we really do only want consistency.
Didn’t show the other two pens we should have had 🤣🤣🤣
The ball was gone no foul
Goalkeepers are too protected in the modern game thats why Onana has done this reckless challenge on multiple occasions because he knows as long as he makes contact with the ball a ref likely will not call a foul because his intention is to play the ball regardless of whether he knocks the opponents head off in the process
PGMOL suck.
No mention of Edison doing it the next day against Forrest and the pen not being given. The refereeing in the premier league is awful.
And what was his opinion on the four potential penalties Man U were denied? And I am not one of those saying this one wasn't a penalty.
If that's the case why didnt Man Citys goalkeeper Ederson get penalised for doing the same thing it's ridiculous probably cos its Man City stupid var leave to the refs linesman var is crap
why these poppets don't talk about three potential penalty to united
The fact they need “learnings” shows how clueless these Officials are. Every single person apart from the Officials thought it was a Penalty when Onana did the same thing against Wolves at the start of the season. Incompetent is a generous description of these clowns ruining the game.
