Definitely not Belgium cos he did as much as he could for such an unfancied country, he put them on the map to begin with. With Madrid, probably but his body just gave up on him post PSG injury unfortunately.
He was talented but laid back. Hs been his whole career. Has always said that he doesnt really care about stats or individual awards because he just likes to have fun on the pitch and he's a family man. Makes sense that he kind of lost motivation when he got that move to Madrid. And then when he finally did want to make thar impact, his injuries held him back, Vini had proven himself and Carlo couldn't give him minutes.
It's a shame for the rest of us because we all wanted to see him go onto that next level. Most of us were saying back in 2019 that he had the talent to go onto an even higher level at Madrid. But it didn't unfold that way because he just wasn't driven.
Like all the great players pre Messi and Ronaldo. The likes of Ronaldinho had short peaks but they didn't need long to show the world their talent. Just didn't care enough to take care of their bodies, constantly think about goals that will make them look good in the history books etc. Just entertainers.
You can't ask much more of Hazard in a Belgium shirt though. Greatest player ever for the Belgium national team.
