      The guy needs a full pre season, needs to concentrate on getting fit and back to playing the way he was 3 season's ago, he is notmatch fit and we all know he is taking that extra touch .that extra couple of seconds to make a pass or track a runner, you can't do it at elite level sport

      2. To all those who say they never boo or anything, what do they do at a restaurant if they served a terrible meal, do they just eat and say nothing

      Finally players like Phillips will come and go, but supporters follow their club, through rain and shine and it costs them a lot of money, where else would you suggest fans vent their frustration?

      Presenter obviously hasn't watched it. 1 supporter said "useless", then Phillips gave the bird. Making out it was a baying crowd is just appalling journalism. Talksport yet again making things up to support their own narrative.

      we have to visualize also who he is responding to .. the type of adult fan that hangs around the team bus area to get an autograph, i.e a sad case! also probably there are kids around. engaging with such a fan shows someone that needs a break. Like you say.. put headphones on, focus and get on the bus, and act like a confident professional

      Firstly, the spurs fan saying fans were waiting an hour after the game to give abuse to Philips was incorrect, there were children and families wanting autographs, shirts etc. they wasn’t just there to give abuse, although the abuse was one person saying he was `useless’! Secondly the arsenal fan comparing Xhaka to Phillips, xhaka was your own player, Philips isn’t ours and wasn’t someone we needed.

      I do feel for him as his professional choices haven't worked out for him. Its a very unfamiliar time for him and he needs to dig deep and focus his energies on being the best version of himself.

      Truthfully, he should step up to the fans and apologize for his actions and explain he is gojng thru a rough patch.

      English football fans sometimes do not do themselves any goos by abusing players and throwing obscenities at them sometimes, the same goes for players when they don't do well and turn on the supporters. Both are to blamw and in the end it is also a societal issue not just a football issue. Philips was wrong to respond back the way he did, but West Ham fans have not covered themselves nicely either.

      It’s wrong waiting 90 minutes with your kids for an autograph or a selfie?
      Because that’s actually what they were there for.
      Highly unlikely anyone going to wait 90 minutes to abuse a player.
      But yeah if you find that weird good for you
      Maybe it’s wrong doing a 12 hour round trip in the first place then 🤷🏻
      Get a grip!

      Once that final whistle goes, you must leave the players alone, especially if the lads have lost. They're human beings, just like us supporters.
