You know that is the problem with these low iq defenders like arauljo. Even if that wasn't a straight red, why would you panic and foul in dangerous position? Even if it is mbappe, if you know the game and the score, he could have just let it out run him and trust ter stegen. He just have to chase and pressure. They're up 4-2 on aggregate, why panic? When you have the situation like this, even if the wind blows and the striker falls down, the defender may get a red card. The striker is untouchable in that situation. Araujo first to fire after the season. He is reckless.
He got past Arajuo (aka the last defender in the horizontal line) and was 1v1 with the keeper. No you don't have to be 90 degrees with the keeper to be considered a 1v1. Edit: even if he wasn't through on goal, Arajuo fouled him from behind with no chance or intention of getting the ball. also worthy of a straight red but with referees being instructed to go softer on fouls. It could be a yellow.

When one runs with that speed and taking care of the ball as well a little push makes one to lose balance. Though maybe He could run anyway, but the momentum and the scoring chance is basically lost.
