In celebration of St David’s Day, the Football Association of Wales have released ‘Getting to Know’, an original feature series across the FA Wales YouTube channel.
The brand-new series follows former Wales footballer and sport presenter Owain Tudur Jones on a mission to enable football fans the opportunity to really get to know their footballing heroes, both past and present, whilst offering a unique insight into the personalities of these athletes that is rarely ever seen.
The second episode of ‘Getting to Know’ shows OTJ visit Primrose Hill, an area of London with a rich Welsh connection, to meet with Wales and Tottenham Hotspur defender Ben Davies.
Davies details his pride for being and speaking Welsh, that iconic clearance against Slovakia, the boost he had from playing next to Ashley Williams at both Swansea and Wales, along with transfer rumours and many more behind the scenes anecdotes.
