      Out of line comment , should we judge German culture by the shameful game between Germany and Austria in the World Cup of Spain where they played not to lose on purpose to go thru the next round ( even fifa had to change the format of the games as response to that shameful behavior) .       As an Iranian I didn’t get offended by the comments and in fact I found it as a compliment the fact that Iranian football is physical and why it shouldn’t be? That’s the beauty of football and the team strategy. However,where and when the comment was given was irrelevant! Iran played well in that game, and the scenes are shown by BBC are typical football moments that happens in any game. Secondly, the fact that he called individuals by their nationalities was ridiculous! What does he mean by Guatemalan referee? What did he try to point here?

      I think he owes an apology to the referees and team manager? The rest is fine we take it as compliment!

      Whenever anyone goes to another country, not as a tourist but would live there at least for a couple of years, then maybe they can open their big mouth and speak about that culture. Jurgen Klinsmann was an incredible player but he seems to be a low class foolish man who insulted just so happens to be one of the oldest cultures in history starting with Cyrus the great and first in history who established human rights. Some freed the jews and some …….. so it's funny who is talking about cultures. Isn't it actually ironic? Also the host, she also failed miserably for not cutting him off. I'll bet she would have if it was an all black player African team.

      Iran totally outplayed Wales in the 2nd half…and Klinsmann talking about cheating and gaming the referee has to be a joke…as he was the biggest diver and Germany were always surrounding the referee. Sadly Iran played very poorly against USA…if the Iran of the Wales game had turned up I think they would have won, even though USA have played some excellent football so far.

      culture of BBC is promoting LGBT through football and not showing the Opening ceremony of Qatar 2022 World Cup, (first time a world cup based in the Muslim world) because the Muslim culture may have shown some interest to open minded Westerners. It is about the most anti-cultural, xenophobic, Islamophobic decision a broadcaster could have made…even more so due to their ridiculous hypocritical reasons for doing so…amazingly ITV did the same…so there was no collusion and conspiracy there was there? Just like the three US broadcasters who decided to cut broadcasting when Trump started speaking about election fraud he had been victim of in his immediate post election press conference/speech.       Klinsmann you need to zip it. First of all this team was not representing the people of Iran and the team was under lots of pressure & threats from the regime to not show any gestures of dissidance but to imply that they were "working the ref" or if the ref was not from Guatemala the gane woud have been different" is outrageous and stupid. Was it in your culture to grab Iran's net and shake it after a goal when Germany was the cup contender and Iran barely made it to the World cup in 1998? You have zero class and obviously too biased to be a footbal commentator.

      If this was Atletico Madrid challenging aggressively like that he would have said it's because of Spanish culture or a manager like Diego Simione or Jose Mourinho shouting like that to refs, he wouldn't have said that.
