  1. Towards end of game priority for both teams was not to concede. Pep sacrifice debryune and halaand because real madrid had also taken out their attackers

  2. I keep telling people this truth about haaland…city doesn't suit his game style, haaland will perform better in realmadrid shirt than city cos Madrid's style

  3. Craig they didn’t pray that none of the Man City players put one in the top corner. They prevented it and didn’t allow them to. Give Real Madrid some credit ffs

  4. In 1982 World Cuo in Spain, Brazil dominated and they LOST! Domination and possession don't mean a thing if you don't win. Offense versus Defense – Defense WON!!

  5. Real Madrid play all knock out stages so far cautiously. carefully last year final defeat hurt anceloti badly.

Same team same couches same opponents. Whom you blame now.

  6. Why are we talking about haaland like he was doing anything at any point during the game? Julian alvarez had a much bigger impact in 30+ minutes on the pitch than haaland for 80, including the fact that he very decisively scored his own penalty and opened up the pitch by bobbing in an out, all haaland did was walk in between the two defenders all game and get 2 headers, not julians fault that silva en kovacic had such horrible penalty takes.

  7. M A S T E R C L A S S : City with all the possession is all they did. Hold the ball & waited. Madrid MasterClass defending & Lunin Goalkeeping 🀌🏼

  8. I watched this game i didnt see dominance, I saw a team that lack creativity and forced shots. Why on Earth they dont cross the ball to a 6'4 Viking.

  9. Manchester City played brilliantly, there is nothing else they could have done better. The difference was a couple of penalties. That's what I don't get from these pundits: if City would have scored those two missed penalties, the analysis would have been completely different, that's just absurd. In reality, when they were 1-1, both teams needed one goal and City made everything on their power to get it, and Madrid did nothing. Then, again, penalties…

  10. If a team with 30% possessions scores the same goals as u – either u cant defend or other team is clinical and amazing at chance creation either way ur toothless and worse

  11. That's why Kdb is not even half of half of half of Modric
Modric can die for our badge and for his country as well
If his physio comes to him and says "Luka if you play in the Euros full 90 you'll lose your legs"
He'll still play for his nation for his motherland
Just watch Croatia reaching the semis!

  12. I think Mbappe should have gone to Arsenal. He would been a perfect fit there. I think going RM is going to be a tough situation with all the competition that will be there (Mbappe, Bellingham, Rodrygo, Vinny). Mbappe doesn't like to share the limelight and he wants to be the man. I think in the end, Mbappe would be happier at Arsenal.

  13. I knew Madrid tactics was to defend the whole game. Once Rodrigo got subbed out, it was obvious they were going to play defensively. Pep should've subbed out Grealish in the beginning of second half. Doku is way faster and can dribble past defender easily. Carvajal is old to even match the speed of Doku which Pep could've taken advantage off way earlier. I would've subbed out Haaland as well and subbed in Alvarez for a better chance to score long range goals. Either way Madrid knew that they had better chance in penalty because that's what they are know for in the UCL. I could see them doing this against Bayern if they struggle.
