The F Croatia comment was not brilliant . You can say it in front of your squad but you dont go on national tv and say it.

I get what Herdman was trying to do, but it's something that should've stayed in the locker room.
A kerfuffle, but guess he's eating his humble pie now and Croatia is moving onto the round of 16.
Such is life though. Sometimes when you play with fire, you get burned. I think he should've said he meant to say "effin get Crotia". An apology without saying sorry, but hindsight is 20/20.
IMO, I don't think it'll mean much in the grand scheme of things.
On the otherhand, the abuse Borjan got from some of the Croatian fans crosses the line. Genocide can never be justified. Fines are warranted, but this is FIFA afterall so I don't expect much.
As for the girl, can't say I've ever heard/seen of her. But I use instagram to watch puppy videos.

I can tell you because I'm here in Qatar Steve that it is a fabulous atmosphere…because it's all so concentrated in one city; it's like a World Cup and a Worlds Fair all rolled into one. Let's never forget that the world is a friendly place.
As for the Herdman comment…I think this was the worst game he's had so far…he should've kept it under his hat and he should've made the substitutions before the half to stop the bleeding…All in all I'm shocked Croatia were so concerned about what Canada has to say…I guess we now have a Canada – Croatia rivalry.
Not the best words to use as a manager – especially publicly, but I think we all know it's just locker talk. Frankly too much offence culture today and I'm burned out over it. I suspect it motivated the Croatian team but I also suspect they were not truly offended either. As for Ivana, the dress in the video isn't the low cut v-neck as shown in the photo. Personally I think she doesn't cross the line, but she as heck is right up against it LOL.
John Herdman made a huge mistake, rather dumbass mouth over mind moment! I sadly think this is supposed to be a 'high' point in his career, but he was able to embarrass himself and Canada with one moment of idiotic banter. He probably cost himself a lot of high profile, high wage manager offers with that statement. I know Haduk Split will no be offering him a contract anytime soon lol.
We all get excited 😊. No it didn't do anything for us. I'm sure he will learn from it.
