WHAT NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT WITH MOISES CAICEDO… Moises Caicedo has been slated often this season due to the hefty price tag that saw Caicedo move from Brighton to Chelsea last summer. Chelsea have not seen the best of Moises Caicedo yet, but with Enzo Fernandez struggling currently with a hernia which see’s him take injections to get through the pain of playing game by game, is Caicedo having to over-compensate for Enzo Fernandez? Hence why he looked so much more comfortable alongside Gallagher during Chelsea 6-0 Everton on Monday night… let me know your thoughts on Moises Caicedo and Chelsea in the comments below!

  1. Shame about Enzo that explains some things. Couple of good points you made there. Here's a few more…..Just like Lavia, Caicedo arrived with an injury so he's been playing through that..Pep Guardiolas City absolutely WOULD NOT play at/towards Caicedo..go back and watch the footage. I believe if we dont already, CFC will have the most controlling PL midfield but I too would like to see a healthy Lavia – Caicedo partnership with a little bit of Nkunku or better yet a truly creative attacking midfielder in Kendry Paez……Can't wait…The futures so bright I gotta wear shades

  2. Enzo is playing day in day out because of the homeboy manager, Porch, otherwise what we have seen so far this season is no much convincing. Had we had a diferent manager, Enzo would not have been playing all the games he played this season. My opinion.

  3. For me Gallagher was under estimated in his role both on and off the ball I think he should stay at the club and play this partnership against City to see if it works. Palmer at the CAM role, he was sublime. Even we had a clean sheet I think the defence needs tightening up against the big teams. Everton had chance I feel City would put away. But overall the defence looked good.
Looking to next season some decisions will have to be made on players not pulling their weight who we can attract to the club, I like Paulina at Fulham as well but the priority has to be a decent striker. Some hard decisions need to be made about players getting injured all the time. I think Reece is a brilliant player when fit and if his surgery has been seen to work we have the right side sorted with Gusto and James maybe a youngster too who can learn off these two.
But if the surgery hasn't worked and there are teams that want to buy him then it should be considered providing the money is spent in getting a good replacement.

  4. I think Rice edges it right now simply on the basis of being more versatile, he can be the box to box, holding mid or heck even put in a good shift at cb, while Caicedo is only outstanding at his specific role and need the right type of player next to him, maybe Lavia is that guy, only thing we can be sure of is that Enzo or Gallagher ain't the answer

  5. Bro you're spot on, I 100% agree on your analysis of Caicedo, he's a world class defensive midfielder but he's so much more. We saw what he did at Brighton, Chelsea need to figure out how to maximize the midfield

  6. Caicedo and Enzo could have gone to any club and they chose to come toChelsea. The fact that we are having a conversation about Gallagher being in this midfield next season is ridiculous. Gallagher is a bench option at best. Enzo could be playing at Real Madrid right now and everyone would be saying how much we need a player like him. Once Lavia is fit and healthy, we can rotate along with Enzo and Caicedo. Hopefully Andrey Santos can even be in the squad next season as well for other midfield options. People keep talking about Gallagher being our best midfielder and he isn't. He is the same player he is when he was at Palace
