Welcome to Czechia. It's lovely here now, if a bit wet this week.
I guess that you're coming here to see the newly reopened Jiřího z Poděbrad Metro station.
Or possibly to spend all day drinking Pilsner and not be hungover
7:39 Alfie, this isn't the 2000s anymore ( :
Honey wake up! New Hour long Alfie Video just dropped!
Going to do all confederations again, mate?
How about trying something really difficult and try to list the second best player from every country (historic or current).
You forgot "too many Somalians and Muslims" at the start when talking about negatives of Europe
Konstantin Vassiljev is the best Estonian player rn even tho he is turning 40 this year…
Budu Zivzivadze should be an honorable mention for Georgia
There is also a Swiss guy called Xhaka playing for Leverkusen you might have heard of 😀 besides that very good quality video as always. Keep up the good work 🙂
Cole Palmer not being mentioned once while talking about best players from England is mind boggling…
Hi Alfie. Where would you get the idea from that Mads Boe Mikkelsen is the best player of the Faroe Islands? That seems a bit random. Currently, Jóannes Bjartalíð, Brandur Hendriksson Olsen, Jóan Símun Edmunsson, Jákup Andreassen, Adrian Justinussen, Árni Frederiksberg, Hallur Hansson (although he hasn’t played for a long time), Sølvi Vatnhamar, Peter Knudsen, Páll Klettskarð, Viljormur Davidsen and René Shaki Joensen are all better players with more international experience. Again, where did you get the information from that Mads would be better than these?
I would love to see another crack at the entire world – and particularly Africa, where there's a lot more visibility for players than there was in 2018.
In few years for Bulgaria it could be Marin Petkov who plays for Levski Sofia and Steven Gaote who just left Levski's academy to go to Rennes
Swedens best player is pretty clearly Isak imo
My Club Leverkusen winning their first championsship and Alfie doing another EVERY COUNTRY VIDEO. Life is good.
Unfortunate Wikipedia moment, but Greece coach for the last 2 years (including of course the Georgia game) has been "Gus Poyet", but for some reason someone changed it to Donis, even though no one knows who is going to be the next one.
I am from Northern Ireland and Conor Bradley is definately the best choice desppite Johnny Evans being Man UTDs best CB this season
The best finnish player is glen kamara
Great video Alfie. Two small corrections regarding the segment on Greece:
29:18 Donis has never coached the Greek NT. The manager of the last campaigns was Gustavo Poyet.
In the playoff final against Georgia, both teams were playing with 11 players. The red card was given to the outfield substitute Georgian goalkeeper Loria for something that happened between the two benches.
PS. In my opinion, Pavlidis is a logical peak but he has not performed well with the NT. In contrast, the best performer of the last campaigns has been Bakasetas (NT captain). Probably the best footballer player in terms of talent is Fortounis (which is no longer playing with the NT)
Keep up the good work!
You gotta make a video analyzing the soccer themed anime: “BLUE LOCK”
Great video and very intersting to hear about those small countries. But your Swiss pick is miserable. Gregor Kobel?? Sommer is chasing records in Italy & is by far the better goalkeeper atm and Xhaka is Xabi Alonso's reincarnation on the pitch. Only Topps made it worse by picking Okafor as the Star Player!!
