This game just highlights once again our priorities. We were nowhere near prolific enough today, we need a striker. Other than that the all round squad depth is poor, Arteta was punished for rotating this afternoon but if he didn’t he’d of been punished on Wednesday. Big summer ahead 😤
After liverpools loss you could just sense arsenal losing too. It’s a shame that in the second half it felt like we weren’t even trying
disgraceful performance, could've played other players to rest our main squad ahead of the cl game.
I wasn't able to watch the match but I was surprised to see Zinchenko starting and Havertz in midfield. Massive chance to beat a Villa team without Douglas Luiz, advantage City now unfortunately

Games like this happen but what is unacceptable is the disrespect to villa. This is a team that is 4th beat us and are a great side. So y is mikel the players and the fans acting like this game was luton. There was almost a feel from everyone that we would just stroll out and villa would roll over for us. Mikel does this all the time when we are on a roll he takes it one game at a time but one bump (Bayern) he freaks out and he looks forward and changes the lineup and bottles it happened last season. Mikel needs to take a step back and say look it’s not in our hands but now it’s about one game at a time

Man City had tough games in March, and they had more draws. They had depth, and Arsenal doesn't.
Some fans need to be realistic. Pay attention to details in December. The champion league take a toll and Arsenal lost 3 games

Absolutely terrible in the second half, I don’t know why arteta hasn’t tried zinny in the LCM role and tomi in the left back position. I hope I never have to witness zinny play for arsenal again but at some points in the game he’d fit in the midfield next to rice but I don’t know I hope we can bounce back and just pray we win our final games and see where it leaves us but as always we are left disappointed
Ben White was on a yellow from the 36th minute, which explains why he couldn't put a foot in after that. Zinchenko also came on at half time against Bayern in mid-week and added some needed stability on the left, so despite some naivety today, how can you say he is done? Poor finishing, stupidly straying offside every 5 minutes and a general lack of composure (unusually mostly from Rice) cost us. I felt Partey would have been better to sub-on to gain some much-needed posession in the second half and provide one or two balls into the final third. It's all in hindsight now and the prem is out of our hands for now,. So learn and concentrate on the next game at hand. Bayern will be as down as us today watching Leverkusen win the Bundesliga, so lets cash in on their demise and get a result on Wednesday. COYG
If we capitalised on at the very least 1 chance by halftime then the second half is totally different. Kind of embarrassing this game.
