The board got Stevie G both Digne and Couthino in January. Digne with time at PSG and Barca…. Coutinho sold for £140m a few year back!!!
All us fans were waxing lyrical at the time, and rightly so.
We also got a highly coveted Kamara being looked at by various CL teams.
This squad is not a Prem winning squad, BUT it waaaaaay too good for where we are placed in the league right now.
If we started this season stronger, I'm sure the board would be sanctioning much stronger activity this window than what we have seen.
Due to FFP, it is almost certain that the board has chosen not to blow all the budget and endanger our status on the basis a new manager will likely arrive soon.
