There was an article on Daily Mail saying the real footage proofs this was an innocent mistake.
This proofs otherwise. He noticed the kid who barely stuck his hand out. But didn’t notice the hand high in the air. I think he pats the black kid on the back, but it’s not the same thing.
If you went for a handshake and someone declined but patted you on the back, you would feel disrespect. The most telling bit was how he went back to acknowledging the white kid.
Maybe the black kid was annoying before this or rude to staff. If not, Gallagher needs to explain himself. I can’t call him a flat out racist because he has a tonne of black teammates.
