Honestly disgusted at all the comments about Garcia… the left barca when he was 16/17…been away from home for the entire lockdown with no family in Manchester, no friends and no one to talk to in his native language… living in awful manchester weather too, imagine how tough that is on him… when your home youth club comes asking for you how can you say no to that… of course City is a top club but to live close to your family and friends and speak your home language is far greater than anything else. Also, don't care much about Garcia. Not like he did play well enough when the chances were given to him. He can go if he wishes to, but it's very unprofessional of him to act like that. It might affect his future….
I think City should explore playing 3 at the back next season with stones Laporte and Diaz. Occasionally Ake playing some games in rotation and possibly Walker playing on the right side in some games as well. Can’t have all these premium defenders on the bench at the same time too often, they need minutes too, plus it’ll bring a fresh dynamic to the team
It wouldn’t make sense to sign both Halaand and Messi. Not just from an FFP point of view, but because Messi is not going to defend. De Bruyne already has less defensive intensity than he used to back in the day. That’s not good for the balance of play.
IF they sign both, then De Bruyne is going to have to go. Personally, if I were Txiki I would let him go honestly. After those comments after the Lyon game over the summer, seeing him walk about the pitch on most games this year, wanting more than 22 million pounds a year or whatever it is, and him pushing 30, I wouldn’t sign him to a long term contract.
He is an amazing player but mentally, I don’t think he’s quite there and he would be better off somewhere else. If you want to invest in someone like Messi and/or Halaand, it doesn’t make sense to pay De Bruyne that amount of money.
In City do want to become a truly great club, they shouldn’t be held to ransom and bend over backwards for any player. The project should come first. Fergie didn’t hesitate to get rid of the likes of Beckham and others when they were getting too big headed for their own good and the club kept winning. City shouldn’t be afraid of doing the same.
That said, if Messi doesn’t sign, they I would try to get Grealish, personally. Either way, I’m pretty sure that IF you lot sign De Bruyne to a lucrative, long term deal, it’s going to be a similar story to Ozil at Arsenal. Watch this space.

We need to give Angelino a chance when he's back from loan at Leipzig. He has proven he's got potential, definitely better than Mendy on the rare occasion that he is fit enough to play.

We would be STUPID to sell Laporte, Stones need more than a few games to be considered the main guy for me. Right now he is in good form but I still don't think the quality is as natural has it is with Ruben and Laporte. On the other hand, Stone's for may be down to Ruben being just the right match for him.
