  1. I think genuinely that Disasi has turned a corner, he’s played a ball back to a keeper who should be in the position that he’s passed the ball to… Petrovic would absolutely have been there ready to receive the ball. Sterling has been piss poor all season, even at the start of the season I never saw how Sterling was actually doing well as he just had a few tap ins which were a product of others playing well

  2. I feel like most of us Chelsea fans are deluded although I am not fully convinced with Poch, I agree with him in terms of expectation.. We need to be realistic and not think this is still Romans Chelsea..

Everyone is jumping on mudryk's bandwagon out of a sudden after 2 okay performances.. Two month ago he had no footballing IQ and was getting Instagram dms from fans telling him how shit he was . 🤷🏾‍♂️
. 4 months ago Southgate was wrong for omitting Raheem now he's the worst player in the world ?.. Emotional intelligence is important when managing a group of people and Poch has this part right… You don't humiliate at player who's having a tough time.. When you're emotionally intelligent. One thing you can see is that there isn't a single Chelsea player that's not playing for Poch.. Despite poor campaign he's not lost the dressing room. I

These are human beings at the end of the day, i don't mind people having a bad day as long as their body language is right Andy they are clearly trying..

Having bad day but knowing that your coach respects you can have an impact on you and make you wanna do more for that coach..

Likewise, our number 2 goal keeper should be able to play against lower league opposition. And that's how you keep harmony in a squad.. We just need to be fair and keep our criticism in context

  3. Tbh as much I would like to see other people start over him. Take away the penalty and free kick wasn’t a horrendous game for sterling. Like he missed a 1 on 1 shit happens. He obviously shouldn’t be taking penalties and free kick was bad but enzo isn’t on the pitch and it wasn’t to long ago he scored a worldy from one

  4. I get this anecdotal and won't work for everyone but with Sterling and even Jackson earlier in the season I remember hearing about MO Salah and him saying he had put some goals in his garden at home to practice his finishing. Maybe it wouldn't work for everyone and it probably wouldn't make a difference with the pen and free kick but some of the other shots they've missed recently think about how much more impact full these guys would be with just a couple more goals this season. Sticking by Sterling seems like a task that nobody is happy with but keeping him from dropping his head altogether seems important. Not justify him staying on this game but until Nkunku returns and/or we sell him in the summer we need Raheem to give it his all and play. If we started a front 4 with Palmer, Jackson, Mudryk, Carney and Noni, like any combination of those 4 it would be a first time with that line up. So I get trying to keep Sterling on board. He needs to do better.

  5. I think we’re being a little harsh here:
The Disasi own goal only happened because of the bump from the attacking player. It caused Disasi’s kick to go a little wider.
Sanchez was positioned just fine for a pass back, Disasi should’ve had his head up and known where his goalie was (maybe he did and it was the bump that threw him off).
Petrovic couldn’t have saved that second goal, you can say he might’ve but it’s speculative.
Poch starts Sanchez because when we purchased him, he was our first team goalie. He got injured and petrovic stepped up and became more consistent. Now that Sanchez is back, he wants to prove to the coaches that he’s our main man. So poch gives him his opportunities during our cup games (against championship level sides). His performance can be judged off of that, but you can’t blame poch for giving him a look.
Sterling had 0 composure today yes. I agree that I’d start the other 5 attacking players over him. But again, poch is probably thinking of putting in an experienced, quick player to go against Leicester. To his credit, he was finding himself in some really good areas and found the ball a lot. He just wasn’t clinical. I think it was probably due to arrogance or lack of focus or selfishness, but I’m being speculative.
If I’m poch, I’m watching sterling and thinking “he’s not bagging any of these opportunities, but they keep coming to him so surely he’ll finish one or two”. After a certain amount of time though he had to make the switch.
I agree that sterling should’ve come off ahead of Mudryk.

  6. I saw the replay and Sanchez's position was okay because literally the entire team was on the other side of the pitch. The throw in when backwards to Disasi. Sanchez should still be benched though.

  7. Unsubscribe…Joey the negative after the W is not really called for. If you love the badge we cannot keep kicking players when they are down.

  8. You know this chaps a true Sterling hater by how he basically criticises Sterling in describing how Sterling won the penalty. Like give Sterling a break mate! Won a penalty, got an assist, sent Jackson through for that free kick with a gorgeous pass. Come on balance your criticism with fair comment

  9. Mudryk did so well and gets taken off?! Poor fella. What a time to be at Chelsea, 3 managers? How many new teammates? No stability. Terrible time for a fella to be at Chelsea.

  10. My mum, who doesn't watch football, came to this game, and it was her first. From the start of the second half, even she was calling for him to be subbed off. Shocking from Poch.

  11. I wondered if he was trying to kill someone in the crowd with that free kick 😂 Sterling doesn't look like his heart is in it anymore hopefully we can offload him to Saudi!

  12. Sure Sterling had a poor game but to say Maduake and Mudryk are better than Sterling is nonsense. Sterling won the penalty and got an assist on another day he’s getting praise. Maduake and Mudryk both levels below. Also Palmer is to blame as much as Sterling he didn’t put up any fight whatsoever to take the pen
