I love Gio. But who should he have started over? Players in his spots played well. So that makes minutes tough.
Secondly, he is 19. He will be back for 3 World Cups, maybe even 4 (2026, 2030, 2034, 2038). Maybe even 5.
Lastly, his injuries have stalled his growth. I hope he grows out of it!
