  1. Crazy, Gio is arguably our most creative offensive player, starting for a top German club and gets benched for most of the tournament. Make this make sense.

  2. Jesus Christ this guy is a commentator? I understand you can get emotional but be more professional with your vocabulary. Let us fans be stupid and obnoxious lol. This guy has been consistently annoying. I appreciate an insightful professional viewpoint.

  3. I love Gio. But who should he have started over? Players in his spots played well. So that makes minutes tough.

Secondly, he is 19. He will be back for 3 World Cups, maybe even 4 (2026, 2030, 2034, 2038). Maybe even 5.

Lastly, his injuries have stalled his growth. I hope he grows out of it!

Gio will have his time and dominate.

  4. How America a country of 300+ million people from all around the world can't find 11 guys to go deep in world cups ? I just don't get it.

  5. The American team needs a guy like Gio it may seem off or selfish but a guy with his personality are the guys that are going to go out and win games, score goals, create big things

  6. Arteaga is such a sold outside defender. The fact that he got zero minutes in the World Cup shows how corrupt the Mexican federation is

  7. Obviously Gio is right. We all know Berhalter needs to go. If you want to give Berhalter credit for improving American soccer so be it. Probably some merit. He obviously can not coach a world cup team. A team that wins at least.

  8. So hearing that comment from Reyna does that effect the USSF in their consideration for renewing a contract with GGG, considering your possible star player is not having good vibes with GGG?
