  1. Respectfully I think he costs Arsenal points with his profligacy. Our best performances are when Trossard plays at no:9. No agendas that’s a reality. I’m about done with Jesus

  2. Nah bro, I am done with him. 1. Frequently injured. 2. Not a goalscorer. 3. Doesn't fit the system. 4. Not fast.

Overall, a move on and get someone better. It's not as if he has been banging in goals.

  3. His injury issues have been a concern but he was transformative to our forward line last season. It's shocking to see how much the fanbase has turned on him to be honest. Once he has rhythm, I'm sure he'll be back to his best and be reminding people why he's such a quality player and why he is integral to our team

  4. if there was a player of his skillset and at his level you could replace him but i dont see anyone because GJ9 is a unicorn player, you might find a baller with technical as good as him but does he run as hard for the team or float effortlessly across the front three? people understate how hit and miss it is to replace quality players. Also a quality bench is not a crime

  5. The same way you acknowledge that some players have a level of vision that others simply don't possess, it's kinda similar with fans in that while we can all watch football, some see and have a better understanding of it than others do.

That there are calls for Jesus to now be jettisoned because of this period of recurring injuries he's gone through and that when he has been available he hasn't exactly been a prolific goalscorer, isn't too far away from the degree of ignorance that was openly on display against Arteta and Edu even being appointed never mind the remedial action and site clearance that they fully understood we had to undergo before the foundations of a successful team could be laid. Then again, I suppose for some patients the main issue is that the life saving medicine that they have to take tastes horrible.

Gabriel Jesus is our version of what Roberto Firminho was for Liverpool, in that the true value of their contribution to the team isn't simply measured by the volume of goals they score, but by how many their game play creates for others as well as curtails the opposition from building attacks against their team with any kind of ease and time on the ball.

We have not yet reached that time or point where we've developed and out grown the Brazilian like we did with Ozil, Aubameyang and Lacazette, and whilst his being retained as a key member of the squad shouldn't hinder our recruitment of a Gyokeres, Isak, Sesko to be the spearhead center forward missing from our jigsaw puzzle, the subsequent increasing in quality of our front line that would represent should only be bad news for both Nketiah and Nelson, especially if Beireth gets brought into the first team squad next season.

  6. He gives 100% . At the start of last season he was the catalyst. He will be back to his best , a key player in the team. We need depth and alternatives.

  7. I think Jesus is in the wait and see basket 🧺 If we can find a better option that's more reliable at scoring we'll move him on. If he can add double figure goals and assists we'll keep him. 😊
