In many games, Deki had many chances to pass to opened Sonny but he often ignores him. When he does, Son scores. He needs to learn to play a team game but he often try to do all by himself and lose the ball. I like to see Brennan instead. Kulu is too slow for the winger position.
The reason why Son and Kane were successful together was because they look for each other whenever they have the ball. Son needs a partner who can provide a chance like he is doing with everyone. Last year, Conte was Son's kryptonite which he does not want to experience again. Kane had 33 penalty kick goals whereas Son with 3. Don't forget that Son has 82 assists to go with 160 goals.
Amount of money Son brings to Tottenham, he is not being treated well in terms of his salary equal to his level of player.

I wonder if Postecoglou's modesty works against him. He seems to lack the ego most his contemporaries have but perhaps his playing down of his accomplishments is what's giving some of the instant noodle fans the idea that he's not as good as he clearly is to the rest of us.
I feel Kulu should be tried as a false 9, not only that he tall and is built like a brick house. He can hold up the ball like a target man. Runs endlessly and has a good pass on him, he can drop deep and create space and pick out a pass. He can give another passing option, as at times Maddison tends to be marked.
When Sonny scored, the midfield was only Lo Celso and Bentancur, as Richy came on for Bissouma.
And yes, Bissouma was seen in the celebrations for the winner as he was still walking towards the bench (he was behind the goal at the South Stand) because he went off at the nearest exit on the pitch.

We were unfortunate with the one off both posts and the one that stayed out by mm. On another day we win comfortably. Had Kane stayed and stayed fit, I’ve no doubt we’d we challenging. We should be challenging anyway. The defeats to Wolves, West Ham, Fulham were avoidable as was the draw at Everton. We really should have 7-8 more points, which would have us in the mix.

i know what you're saying Ali, Kulu might create chances, but I'd be interested in seeing how many actually translate to goals, and what actually qualifies as a "chance". you can have 100 chances and loose 0-1. I dont think he does enough, doesnt really show signs of improving, very predictable, too one-footed, and slows down our counter attacks sooo much because he has to cut inside. For me, our most frustrating player by far. inverted wingers? so they can cut in and shoot? how often has this happened?! He's a bad Bale.
Skipp will be 24 next September. A loan is totally out of the question. He won't suddenly fit in if he comes back a season later. That he seems permanently third after an often wayward Biss, and "off in the summer" Hojby, tells it's own story.
