  1. Let’s start first with getting rid of these wannabe island boy Puerto Rican twins and get some better hosts 😅😅😅

  2. Rumor is Genovia wants GGG to coach their under 15 boys. But…he will need to bring oranges and capri suns for half time. They WILL buy him a pair of Jordans to sweeten the deal…up to $200.

  3. "USSF is a big admirer of Gregg Berhalter's work" — USSF alienated everyone who cares about American soccer by letting their COO Jay Berhalter hire his brother for one of the most important jobs in US soccer, without interviewing a single other candidate. That's the same Jay Berhalter who subsequently had to leave USSF because of the "toxic culture" that staff said he created. Let's see if USSF can start to restore some credibility to their organization by moving on from this embarrassing situation. The team's performance under Gregg in the World Cup ultimately met but did not exceed expectations, so the bar is not inordinately high for replacing him.

  4. Louis van Gaal made Gregg Berhalter his woman. Berhalter throwing the ball away to waste time for the Netherlands was the icing on the cake. Fire Gregg Berhalter.

  5. Just like players, coaches can improve after having gone through the 4 year cycle. Overall he did really well. Just remember 2018 and how that felt. Contrast that with the victory over Iran and watching them outplay England and Wales. I’ll take a big dose of 22’ versus 18’ 24/7/365.

  6. This next cycle will have a USMNT with the greatest potential to date. That being said, how can USSF not see the need for an upgrade on coach? I mean honestly, he met many or most of the goals. Buuuuut, nobody can deny that the teams "away" record was horrible. Look at the group games, #1 Wales: very good first half and a pathetic second. #2 England: both halves went well, good for Gregg. #3 Iran: First half very nice and a second half that may have been the worst half I've seen. What good respectable coach has his team park the bus let the opposing team build huge confidence and absorb an attack for the majority of a half? That's baffling from even a poor coach muchless the coach of your country's top team. All this while one or more of the most lethal players rides pine. And because of the lousy game management and lack of subs for key players many looked gassed out for the final game against the Netherlands. Which brings us up to the last game against the Dutch. Possibly our toughest opponent and Gregg decides to start Jesus up top. Love the guy but lets just look at how the end of his season played out. NO GOALS OR CONTRIBUTIONS. Is that really an intelligent roster selection or starting #9 for the toughest team? Pretty sure Pepi or Pefok would have been a smarter more beneficial choice. I'm not a coach and can see this, why can't he and USSF? Please USSF allow our boys to get the coaching they deserve. We have an amazing opportunity in 3-1/2 years. Lets do everything we can to show the world who we can be on the biggest world stage.

  7. He deserves credit where it is due but the talent of our players individually and their willingness to win have brought us much farther than we should have gone based on Berhalters tactics and subs used alone… let’s be real here everyone. If he was smart (which based on his tactics that’s not apparent at all) then he would call it quits and end on a high. Anyone who argues otherwise doesn’t know ball and willingly accepts mediocrity…

  8. Earnie Stewart. Gregg Berhalter. Brian McBride. Let's face it: it's a good ol boys club at USSF. Look, if the Netherlands and England do really well, USSF will have the cover to give Berhalter an extension. They'll argue that the draw against England was a monumental accomplishment. They'll also argue Holland were just the much better team.

  9. Because he did the bare minimum. Every success was barely achieved. He nearly didn’t qualify. A single goal in any of multiple games was the difference between qualifying and not. With this crop of playing and playing in this confederation, there is no excuse.

His roster selection has always been and continues to be terrible.

  10. USSF will never learn no matter what. Arena post 2002. Bradley post 2010. Klinsmann post 2014… learn the lesson. He did some very good things. But IMO it will serve the US team well to do a thorough search.

On the plus side… well, remember… there were a lot of US fans in 2018 or so that thought Tata Martino would've been great. I wonder if they deleted their posts…
