If you switch allegiance the new country should have to pay compensation to the prior country. Ireland invested a lot of time and money with Rice

Agree with Bent that Rice should be playing for Ireland but Grealish is not the same. He didnโt take a senior cap. Its just crappy that he took caps that should have gone to someone who really wanted it. The grandparent rule is fine, imo. Families move to other countries for all kinds of reasons but may identify with the โold countryโ

This guy was wrong,he wore the Irish jersey at various age groups,then changed his mind when the $$$ came in,probably a good guy but totally distasteful!!
Was born in London and supported West Ham, Grealish born In Birmingham and supported Villa yet Irish fans will still claim theyโre Irish, they used you as a stepping stone get over it

Declan choose England where he was born I have no problem with it. If there is a choice the player should go with his heart. I would have loved for him to stay with Ireland but he didnt so fair play to him and wish him good luck

There are others aswell … Declan Rice as no loyalty to anybody but himself !!!
