  1. I don't think England are behind Spain tbh but I do agree with the rest. England strikes me as one of those teams that can blow out lesser opposition much more than other teams can, but gets neutralized very easily when it comes to facing any half decent teams. People blame Southgate for his tactics but if your so called world class players can't beat his man on the wings or score goals or have a moment of creative brilliance for you, are these players really better than the likes of Griezmann who can consistently do that for you or are these players too reliant on team structure at club level to perform at their best?

Like as great of a coach Pep is, I wouldn't actually heavily rely on many of his or Arteta's players outside of their clubs because they often pick players who fit their specific systems like a glove, and not players who are general specialists good for any system who may not peak as high in their specific systems. Obviously there are quite a few exceptions to this but if you absolutely must play them, you need to also lower their stock and understand that these guys are not who they are at club level because England doesn't have Pep Guardiola at the helm.

  2. hm id say theres quite a lot of nations atm in this akward spot of "THE SLIGHTEST change and everything comes together". For me id say France Germany and England really are on the EXACT SAME spot.
And id put spain, portugal, holland etc right behind that. For me the Margins right now between the nations are really REALLY small actually.
Objectively the euros have ALWAYS been the hardest and most on momentum depending Trophy in world football.
And for me NOT IN A LONG TIME have the margins between the top 6-7-8 teams been SO small as theyre these euros.
So in the end it might actually really come down to the fact that germany is orga…It will be an extreme advantage in this euros where so many games will be decided on Butterfly wing flaps.
    IN MY OPINION obviously.

  3. Germany has under performing for a while now, besides having a top roster of very good players. But even if they were bad, they would have a shot at their home tournament, but now it looks like they found a formation and a set of leading players. I agree with France, Germany as 2 of the top faves and either England or Spain as a 3rd option.

  4. France 🇫🇷
    Argentina 🇦🇷
    Brazil 🇧🇷
    Germany 🇩🇪
    England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
    Belgium 🇧🇪
    Spain 🇪🇸
    Portugal 🇵🇹
    Italian 🇮🇹

  5. The World Cup is 94 years old now.

England have won it once (at home) and have never made another final

The European Championship is now 64 years old.

England have never won it and have made the final only once (at home)

how is this team even relevant, let alone being installed as favourites.

in their entire history they've never made the final of a major tornament that wasnt played in england

ladies and gentleman i present to you "the power of the media"
