Dont know why the USMNT didn't hire this guy instead of the other Bellend
He’s a real one he said football not soccer
Should be USMNT coach, the guy is an inspiration for all young Americans who want to coach at the elite level
As a Brit looking into the MLS. I’ve been a fan since I was 8 and now I am 20 and I’m a Sporting Kansas and NYCFC fan and I kinda like the new identity of Inter Miami. Me and my brothers are fans of Maximiliano Moralez for years. We stayed up late to watch Maxi score against Columbus Crew, NY Red Bulls and even my beloved Kansas. And when my brother went through the first major knee surgery of its kind in Europe- he kept his strength. He was only 13. He then was told he had to do 30 different exercises three times a day as his knee was totally restructured with metal plates and his ligaments where fully metal but it needed strong muscle to keep it in the right shape (and he only got the worst out of the two knees done and he has to live with an inward foot until he’s 16). Anyway so he did (and still does 2 years on) the 30 x 3 leg exercises each day. And even when he was ill- I said to him ‘Finn bro have a rest- take the day off’; and what did he say ‘Rory- Maxi wouldn’t take a day off so why should I?’ I was amazed. He then said ‘I’m like a footballer like Maxi coming back from injury- and like him I’ll be back playing in no time’ (he was also playing football for my local Under16 team and was nicknamed ‘the Shropshire Pirlo’ and ‘Salop’s Maxi Morlez’ – Salop being the colloquial Latin word for Shropshire).
Anyway as a Xmas gift- I wrote a letter to Maxi about Finn and how massive fans we are. I thought I’d never get a reply. Four weeks went by and I was now at university as a fresher and my mum rang me saying something odd came in the post- they thought it was an Amazon package for my dad (like normal). But when I got back- he wrote a letter in English and sent a signed home shirt with an away one he could wear! I was amazed and on Xmas day Finn was over the moon- he was jumping on his poor knee and running around the house. Maxi made his day! And although we’ve never been out of Europe before- I wanna go to the States so me and finn and some mates we know out there can watch the Houston River Derby and possibly if we could see our ideal play! As to us he is the Real mini Messi!
So gracias Maxi for being our ^Real mini Messi* as now he’s getting that signed shirt framed for his new bedroom which he’ll use as an inspiration tool above his desk with the framed letter.
Gracias Amigo from your No.1 fans from Shropshire! 🇦🇷
And that’s why we love the MLS- happy 25th anniversary Major League Soccer!!!
fantastic interview with an american soccer genius!…i certainly wish jesse marsch had been hired as usmnt coach. lol, i very much remember that 1998 mls final where chicago beat dc united, as well as his later career at chivas usa where he bombed goals like every day.
Women's team has problems with the likes of Rapinoe. Too divisive.
I reckon Jesse marsch will soon get big job offer in europe if keep work up
Remember Jesse when he played for DC United back in the day
Haaland is a masterclass player. Hugely underrated
Germany and Austria have handled the crisis very well
Great interview
Absolute fantastic interview! Jesse Marsch seems like a great guy, hope he'll have a great career as a manager.
He’s Manager Of Everton on my save in football manager in the year 2028
This man will make a great career in Europe.
Any Leeds fans here? Let’s hope Jesse keeps us up and Haaland and Jesse join forces again 😉🤍💛💙🙏
