Stoke City slipped to a 3-0 defeat at home to play-off chasing Norwich City on Saturday in their final match before the March international break.

A quickfire double from Josh Sargent and Gabriel Sara put the visitors in control midway through the first half before Ashley Barnes added a third on the hour mark.

Steven Schumacher’s side will now spend the next two weeks preparing for the trip to another top six hopeful in Hull City on Good Friday.

  1. u know its a tough match when you’re playing 12 men, this ref is the worst we’ve had all season. performance wise was shocking, lineups/tactics an utter mess. SS was a lost cause.

  2. Norwich fully deserved their victory. Well organised. Moved the ball around well. Fast. Aggressive. Very good team to watch. Attractive football.

Once Pearson went off we looked shambolic. Defensively hopeless. Apart from Iverson or it could have been 5-0. Disorganised. Playing like a group of players who don't know each other.

Schumakers even using Alex Neils excuses now as his scouse accent starts to turn Scottish "Och aye sof lad".

  3. Stoke City have been in decline since the season before relegation. The club management is hopeless. Poor managerial appointments and terrible player recruitment. It says everything when well over 20 new players have been brought in since last season. It is sad to see a club with Premier league potential heading for League One because it is so ineptly run.

  4. WTF!! When did Stoke City become the team that lets people pass? Wasn't it a team of men who miss the ball but don't let anyone pass? You scaredy-cat pups!! Do the sex reassignment surgery as a group.
