Most comments are cringe and saying same thing
There is new generation of English players Gordon and Foden both excellent players but both Spanish style divers
That second from Barnes……damn that was clinical – he was high on adrenaline and just nailed it!
Anyone else think this could be game of the season
Absolute joke of a VAR decision for second pen
Moyes went into his usual defensive mode and paid the penalty.
Phillips highlights for West Ham this season: Back-pass, Red Card & Penalties. Patiently waiting for an own goal. 🤦🏾
Tonali defo had a punt on a Gordon red card
Referee restarts the game while a player has a head injury, gifting West Ham a goal, moyes ‘the referee influenced the result’ 😂
Ngl the second gordon penalty wasnt a penalty and im a nufc fan but revenge for the schar debacle
I support neither and that wasn't a penalty
Such an underrated pass from isak🔥🔥
That's not a penalty and shouldn't blame philips all the west ham players should take the blame
WH got what they deserved, the goal where a NW was down, Love It!
Has Gordon ever played a match where he doesn't spend at least 20 minutes rolling around on the floor?
Last goal for Barnes was so good the faint an then whack!
Can someone explain how Kudas's hair grew that quick I swear I saw him with a fresh trim not that long ago now he has a pony tail 😂😂
2/3s thought this game I never thought I'd want to watch the highlights tonight….
Also, can someone please explain how the pen decisions are "Controversial"? He nipped in and gets kicked on both. How are they NOT a pen? Referees judge actions, not the intent nor the result of the action, but the action. If a player nips in as someone makes a tackle in exactly the same way then there's no question from anyone it's a foul- so why are these different?
As an Aston Villa fan, I think its marvelous that these smaller mid table teams can still put on a cracking gud game for the Newkie Brown Ale & Pie n Mash chaps! 😂
"Geordies… They are not quite Scottish, not quite English… They are just Geordie."
How was that a penalty
What winner by Barnes
Penalty no 2 , quite interesting…
Stand up if your 4-3 up 😂
Some insanely good goals!!
Gordon sending off was bullshit
Villa fan here but i’ve gotta say that newcastle fans are the best footie fans in the country! the atmosphere they created today was electric!
This ref team is so bad, multiple weird calls and insanely inconsistent. These guys need to go back to sunday league
It’s absolutely insane that these days you can come from behind put your leg in front of a player without even making contact with the ball and get a pen from it
The game of the day over the top 5 leagues. And that says something massive as was alot of them. This is football. Great commentary! Love the game
poor referring head injury can't play refs make it so obvious what team the pefer
I dont understand the Gordon Hype, Harvey Barnes is the real Deal
West Hams discipline cost them this one. There's no two ways about it.
Crap as Phillips has been, that’s a separate issue. Am I the only one that thought the “penalty” he gave away was bloody dodgy?! I wouldn’t be giving a penalty for that all.
So Anthony Gordon tackles Phillips, misses the ball and takes the man, but a penalty is awarded against Phillips?!? Makes perfect sense… and this is coming from a Spurs fan
Amazing from Barnes, lovely from Newcastle Isak and co. Brilliant bottle job by west ham
Boy did i miss premier league football for the past 2 weeks. This game was a treat to watch live. The international break could never produce matches like this.
How is that a penalty? Phillips went to clear his lines and got challenged from behind? Didn’t we grow up with; ‘don’t matter if you get the ball you can’t tackle from behind’. He tackled from behind and won a penalty what is the game coming to?
Had to laugh at the pundits saying that second penalty wasn't fair. But no mention of a player being down holding his head, and they ref allowed a quick free kick. No mention of the ref blowing half time when Newcastle have a throw in near West Ham's goal. No mention of the whistle being blown in the 100th minute when there was 8 minutes added time. No mention of Fabianski holding onto the ball after the second penalty, but Gordon gets a red for kicking it. Laughable.
The Philips "foul" for the penalty was bizarre. If anything Gordon should be penalised for – …its an odd situation – but I suppose obstruction.
Ive always been a big supporter and fan of dubravka, but in all hoesnty now, i camt wait until pope is back, instead. Lost a lot of my love for him when he went to man u on loan and i dont teally rate him ability wise anywhere nearly as high either anymore.
Crazy game
3-1 down when the team started actually trying the fans saw and backed then they backed themselves and we came with them quality
Barnes with a BELTER to win it! 😤
You people need to ask yourself was it a great game or was it engineered by VAR? Did you watch a game that would have ended 4-3 Newcastle without the input of VAR. The answer is no..
First game back and its terrible refereeing as per usual.
How is that a pen ?!!!!!
I stg Barnes is lowkey unreal, he usually always makes an impact every time he gets subbed on. Him & Isak would do absolute wonders if they played in a bigger team.
