I have seen hundreds of international matches in my 62 years life, but never seen any football team playing worse football than what my country did in the last two matches against the third team of a lowly ranked Afganisthan. I literally cried after the match, but who is bothered? Apparently my fellow countrymen are not bothered and got immersed in the third rate masala tournament called IPL. Players are not bothered as they would continue to make money in the summer transfer at ISL. RFDL is not bothered as they are minting money. AIFF is not bothered as they are "autonomous'. Their Chief would be busy in massage parlors spending AIFF funds. Stimach would run away, it is not his country. The Government would be busy with votes and "Ram Lala".
So what is left of Indian football? Only ashes perhaps.
My mind goes back to the Bronze medal match in 1970 Bangkok Asiad which India won against the mighty Japan. The 5 ft. 5 inches Sudhir Karmakar did not allow Asia's best striker, 6 ft. 3 inches Kamamato, to meet a single ball in the air. But these are only memories, far away from the performance of 11 jokers yesterday.

We need 20 clubs in isl and i-league. We need more talent pool. Make it necessary to register 8 foreigners and to field a maximum of 6 foreigners in the field in isl. The 6 tough foreigners will give tougher competition to the Indians. We also need an unbiased coach and an unbiased AIFF. Immediately promote teams like Mohammadan, Gokulam, Inter Kashi, Srinidhi, Real Kashmir to islam. They are absolutely capable of beating teams like Bengaluru, Kerala, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, east bengal etc. We need more competition!
