  1. The retirement league talk is so stupid, nobody who spouts it should be taken seriously. It's not like this is a guy who is struggling to walk and churning no production. Why is Serie A not a retirement league when he plays for one of its top teams at 37 but MLS is for playing him at 38? What about Zlatan who went on to play in Serie A after MLS….

It's a standard that is applied to MLS and only MLS. This league getting great players is a great thing to matter their age.

  2. They’re still worried about mls image meanwhile last year’s ballon o’dor winner was an mls player. For their performance in mls

  3. I think it's hilarious that European fans are so angry that MLS is actually becoming a decent league. It is nowhere close to the European leagues, but it is getting better and the fact that people in the US are starting to pay attention seems to make European fans hate it even more. Hate, hate, hate. Whatever. The sport is growing in the US and becoming more popular with each younger generation.

  4. This Guy is stupid😂😂😂. He is worry about the image of MLS as a retirement League. But his pick is a team with messi suarez jordi alba y Busquets 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

  5. I like how the top players in the world are held to the same standard as your avg pro are all the same when they hit a certain age. Ppl need to know even as athletes age there are still levels to their talent that outpace their age. Messi will still dance around circles in his 40s and 50s compared to his peers of the same age group (I’m talking like a Henderson or Mullers, Tadic) all players that are similar age, but not caliber

  6. Seems like a good signing for the short term. But long term wouldn't it be smarter to bring in a younger striker. Giroud is like 37 already. He plays for 1 or 2 seasons max. Not exactly breaking the retirement league stigma here….

  7. How. Just how. Do Inter Miami and LAFC just have mountains of money to burn?!?! My team just spent a team record $3 million and they were ecstatic. I just don’t understand!!!

  8. I mean… the man has a valued place on the most talented national team in the world. LAFC roster is full of young talent. Anyone paying attention knows that bringing in past it names is far from their model. Complimenting young talent with veteran talent is pure and simply smart management- good, balanced team building. Giroud is still top quality and a hyper intelligent player that will 100% make the team better- will heighten their chances for hardware. Anything else is simply irrelevant noise.
