It's one of my all-time favorite Olympic moments. Most people would have given up after losing the love of their lives, but he didn't. He promised her he'd win the gold medal and never gave up.

Em 2008 nas olimpíadas de Beijin eu uma adolescente de 17 anos, lembro de assistir essa competição e principalmente da emoção que sentir na momento da entrega da medalha 🏅 .
Hoje, em 2024 com meus 33 anos e assistindo novamente essa vitória, eu choro de emoção, pois realmente entendi as batalhas que ele enfrentou para chegar na sua vitória.
A mensagem de persistência, perseverança, foco, força e fé, levo comigo.
