Simeone doesn’t want João Félix…
In a recent interview, Barcelona president Joan Laporta confirmed the club’s intentions to keep João Félix for next season. The president has always been a fan of the Portuguese star and hopes that another season will bring out the best in him.
“I think both João will stay. I hope that Atlético Madrid don’t cause any problems with Félix staying with us,” he said.
His intention was not, however, to sign Félix permanently. The young phenomenon hasn’t done enough to justify a transfer, but Laporta hopes to renew the loan for another season with a buy-out clause of less than 30 million euros.
