Davies is way to inconsistent and has been below average for what he is capable of. Hope he stays and improves but not the end of the world if he leaves. He has a big decision to make. I think he puts more pressure on himself by going to Real Madrid now rather than in a couple of seasons.

No dont give him this contract. This is exactly the time to fix the wages. Müller & Neuer retiring soon. Gnabry, Sané & Coman wont get that kind of contract again. I rather sell Phonzy & Theo Hernandez who gets 6M PER YEAR at Milan IIRC. you can double that and still be cheaper than Davies. You should only give these kind of contracts to your top performers like Kane (and hopefully soon) Musiala. They have to work for it and not just show promise.

I usually agree with you but you missed the big picture here.
Davies hates his life in munich. He's won everything with Bayern already. The club is a mess. The Bundesliga doesn't give him much exposure and although Leverkusen is having an amazing season, typically winning the league is a given for Bayern.
Any player hungry for more will seek their way out at some point like Alaba, Lewa or Thiago. We can't blame him for forcing his way out to Real Madrid. They're literally building the best team in the world right now and he wants to be part of this

Mate what you on about Brazzo ruined the club Brazzo had Davies contract finished and on less money then whats being offered now and it was going to be signed end of season brazzo got sacked and then Davies management wanted to renegotiate with new sporting director
Davies is going for too big of a piece of the pie here I believe. Real Madrid won't be paying 20 million a season you can be sure of that.
