It was unlucky to meet Brazil in the round of 16.. Spain was also a team hoping to avoid Brazil in the round of 16.. If Korea had met another team, it would have advanced to the quarterfinals.

Korean team really did magnificent job. They deserve lots of respect, and they also have it abroad. What a performance on World cup! Congrats once more. Football is game that is very unpredictable and sometimes also little luck plays its part. This team showed to the world the face and spirit of a winner. Everyone can easily see them as (future) world champions. Guys are winners, even if they had to go home now. I hope that Korea realises what a gem it has on it's chest. Not just gem, these guys have purest diamond shine. I trully enjoyed watching football this year, we never had so quality teams from practically all continents. Koreans and Japan, together with Maroko and african teams took my breath away. Cheers from Europe.
