  1. I'm sure he doesn't think of himself this way, but Dejan is arguably the world's best 4th choice CB. Not many players have the fortitude to sit on the bench a lot but still give it their all when asked to come on, and Dejan does that every time. He's also only 29 and just won a Champion's League, so unless you're aiming for a major long-term replacement like De Ligt, why not keep him?

  2. Don’t understand why we’re criticizing this all of a sudden. It’s up to the other team to play defense and if they don’t have the ability mentally or physically to do it, that’s too damn bad. Sports media is becoming such a bunch of soft pussies nowadays

  3. for all the commenters here. I have some free time, so wanted to watch a good classic game.
just out curiosity, what is the most exciting match you have ever watched?

  4. Goal difference makes every goal count. The reason CR7 and Messi were scoring 50+ goals every season in la Liga was because of lack of goal difference.

At the end of the season, scoring loads of goals and keeping clean sheets are rewarded by potentially acting like a point.

  5. Lovren was a starting CB a year ago in teams that went to both the Champions League final and the World Cup final. Then he got hurt from playing through injuries. He is far far too good to not be playing every week when healthy, and that's not going to happen at Liverpool. Wish him all the best and I'll never understand why his mistakes are remembered ten times more than his amazing performances, of which there were many.

  6. A guy with glasses is just stupid! It’s competition where you don’t see your opponents as weak! The players were respectful towards Thai! We don’t see that as disrespecting the opponents. The players feel pain is because we lost. Thought lost in game we have lots of respect for the USA! It’s so awkward to see people making such a stupid criticism or issue for goal celebrations!

  7. This channel literally exists for the purpose of sucking off Liverpool. Words cannot explain how bias they were in the build up to the champions league final

  8. Can we just talk about the fact that there is a slight chance that Liverpool sell Lovren for 25 million and buy fricking Nabil Fekir for 15 MILLION

Build Micheal Edwards a statue already

  9. This Chris Wragg guy seems like a clown. Finishing first or second in a group makes a massive difference in who and how you ascend to the title. Think of Argentina in the Men's World Cup. Had they not faced France in the round of 16, Messi could've been at the final that year. And goal difference is absolutely matters if you have the same amount of points.

  10. I like lovren but i prefer him sitting on the bench than play on the pitch, i dont like my heart bit fast for 90 minutes, still young enough to experience heart attack. 🤣🤣🤣

  11. lovren seems like that guy that helps his team when he is on the bench more than he is on the playing. as steve said, his eagerness to do well sometimes makes him do mistakes, but when he is on the bench, he cannot do that. but he is in liverpool for so long and always gives his best, wether he is playing or not

  12. his contribution on the pitch might not be much , but off the field , in the dressing room no one will be able to replace him, such a fun and lively character , it's all positive vibes , Liverpool needs Lovren's charisma for a few more years .

  13. There's the Copa America and Africa Cup of Nations coming, yet the worthless degenerate wastes of life at ESPN are talking about meaningless club bullshit. Fucking LOSERS.

  14. Keep Dejan he makes mistakes but still made it to ucl and wc final as a starter he’s obviously not as bad as people make him out to be and he loves this club as much as any of us.

  15. Man city took the piss many times last season, they showed disrespect in so many ways last season on the pitch and away from the pitch, they still have that small club mentality I'm afraid…. 6times ❤️

  16. Aye! When you have a LEAGUE, everyone playing everyone away and home, or whatever the system is, the whole idea is to measure the performance through whole season, good games, bad games, where every goal matters. Therefore: points, goal difference, goals scored and THEN, if needed, games between the teams, away goals between the teams, fair play points of what fucking ever comes next.

  17. Liverpool have 6 champions leagues, and the rest of the Premier league combined has 5. Great times to be a lfc supporter. All thanks to Jurgen "the messiah" Klopp.

  18. Goal difference among other things is to promote attacking play, more goals, more entertainment for the viewers/supporters.
