Geo & Gonzo discuss whether West Ham United should cash in one of their £100m stars in Mohammed Kudus or Jarrod Bowen in order to improve the squad overall, similar to last summer after selling Declan Rice to Arsenal for £105m

  1. Kudus in the 10, sell paq and get lw and st with the 85m then invest our funds into a ball playing parter for alvarez, top class cb and rb.

  2. Also have to disagree with you for once geo, bowen is still under 30 and learning, we see lots of forwards who dont hit their ceiling till after 30 di natalie springs to mind, bowen is adding more to his game each season and with an attacking manager can take him to the next level🤞

  3. Can’t imagine kudus would care if he’s starting as LW, RW, or CAM. Should have enough cash from paqueta to get a ST and LW/CAM (depending on where whoever is manager wants to play Kudus)

  4. With the current financial stability of the club the days of selling our best players must end otherwise we'll be the same old selling club that we have always been. Keep our top players and invest in more to turn us into a top 6 club every season and not just now and again.

  5. You cannot sell paqueta and Bowen or kudus. Though even Madrids n Barcelonas sell players if they get daft offers. I don't think liverpool will be after Bowen now so much with klopp going I think he was the one on the committee who was most keen on him. Liverpool wouldn't be giving him much of a pay rise if any at all on what he gets at hammers anyways so he certainly won't be leaving for money. He gets more I believe than all our strikers bar Salah and more than the macallister s n szobozlai get. Plus he is probably a year over what age we tend to set as max for what he will cost. Kudus has growth in him. I'd keep if you seriously want to be pushing for Europe tbh.

  6. I know this is just a game gents, but it troubles me 👀 these two, alongside alvarez are my favourite players! Keep both, sell Paqueta, and as gonzo says, play kudus centrally!

  7. Can't even believe you I asking that what's point of trying to build a team and then get rid of our best players 😮then end up going down Whats that about I really don't know lol

  8. Errrrrrrrrmmmm….. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 NEITHER…..Thats because if you sold them for 80 million each, every mother and her brother would know youre loaded, and we'd be ripped off for anyone we went for…..

  9. I’ve got 13 world class players in the Premier League. Foden, De Bruyne, Haaland, Rodri, Dias, Silva, Rice, Saka, Saliba, Salah, Van Dyke, Allison, Son

  10. Look we almost certainly losing paquetta there’s no way we should sell either of the other two if we could help it def keep Bowen a future superstar at west ham

  11. Geo Silva is world class 100% been better and fitter then KDB and that’s your rules 😉 (hope you guys know that’s tongue in cheek. But I do think Silva is world class)

  12. No, No, NO. We are selling Paqueta so what's the point? If our Dinosoaur manager was a good coach he might be able to play a front 3 with no positions… let them go where they want so everyone is happy….. Imagine that, trusting your world class players to terrorise the oppositions defences!!

  13. Make Kudus Paqueta’s replacement at 10 and spend the Paquetá money as wisely as we did Rice’s and we significantly improve again. I’d even take Phillips plus 55million for Paqueta.

  14. I am going admit to being an adult here. I recognise this video is just a discussion not a statement of intent, or new, or rumour.
As such my response is the following.

Kudus will probably be lured away by a huge offer in about one to two years. He will want to consolidate for another year and when he shows what he can do when he is truly settled the offers will roll in

Paqueta would be in a similar situation but for the injury and of course the inquiry. But I suspect once the coast is clear Pep will renew the interest.

Bowen seems settled here so as stated in the video he is the least likely to leave. I think every player does have their price but preparation is key.

West Ham have not been great at preparing for big names to leave or finding deputies for important players. Steitden will help in this area as it is his primary role not a distraction from his main role.

No player is irreplaceable. I think our dip in form without Paqueta had a lot to do with the fact that we had just found a system that worked well with him in it and then tried to play it without him. There was also the Phillips factor. Quite a few serious errors in those games.

Kudus could stay if a team sprang up around him, but that would require a change in ownership and policy. I have noticed of late rich owners who take over clubs these day are as interested in making money as spending it. Newcastle's owners have been quite restrained and Chelsea for all their spending have young players who will retain a lot of value.

  15. Hate to lose either player just yet (at least before we get to see them in a more… dynamic team, with a progressive manager).

After seeing $$$ being spent wisely, for once, after Rice & how we improved as a whole, I am more amenable to selling any player at the right price.

  16. Geo and Gonzo… A video idea…. Do you think it's possible Sullivan doesn't want Europe next year, and why he's, happy with Moyes, because the cost of a rebuild including European football would far outweigh the financial rewards. If Sullivan doesn't care about the club, the European prestige wouldn't bother him.

  17. WH have never been good at optimising the best time to sell players. Bowen is 27, so a bid of £75 Million is something we should consider. Also a want a new Head Coach to play the Wing Back System, therefore Bowen's position becomes obsolete.

  18. Geo Your 100% right, world class is banded around so much however there are very few who are truly. To be world class you need to think of a world 11 and pick your names.
