Agree with decision.
NOT A PENALTY PLANE AND SIMPLE 😂
God I don't even know what the rules are anymore, do they have to literally go full Suarez for it to be considered handball
That is 100 percent a pen. Pointing is deliberate so hes in an unatural position. Refs are a joke in this league
They need to set exact guidelines on handballs there have been far too many incidents i not sure if it should of been given or not as we seen so many this season be given kick onto hand
"Because it isn't for united, arsenal, liverpool or city"
Scrap var immediately
Yeah that's a penalty. Villa robbed.
Michael Owen: "I'm glad it didn't go to VAR because it's not conclusive. He's pointing. I thought it was a penalty"
Please hire someone who can actually talk without contradicting themselves every other sentence.
So basically new tactic for teams spread your arms as wide as you can as long as you are pointing it's fine
So much for unbiased journalism your working with them fgs I don’t even support either teams
PSG v Newcastle… madness how football have different rules around the world
The 'high foot saga' ? I would sue the pgmol for not protecting me if I was a player with a serious injury due to this 'ruling', SERIOUS accident imo waiting to happen !
Utter rubbish
The Kudus goal was shocking but that was more on the ref
That's a penalty if it was man City. He shouldn't have his arm out its not natural positiin
U lose a goal for accidental handball so should be same blocking the ball 🙄
The problem faced English football is VAR&365BET because they are together to make £ all time 🕰️
And very needed to change
The powers that be don't want Villa breaking into the top 4/5, they hate Birmingham for some weird reason since the Man Itd dominanceof the 90's,simple really, London club bias played a part aswell. Shady stuff 🤷♂️
WHY is no one talking about "the potential advantage from the ball hitting the hand?!", which would clear up every single hand-ball shout… in this case the pass is clearly going to a striker, and the guy holding his arm extended for 5+ seconds is clearly not natural – 100% should be a penalty.
The handball shouldn’t be given as a penalty but that is usually given
Come back next week to see this same action given as a penalty in another game.
"The player was naturally doing the Macarena"
Incredible that you chose to share this rather than the more obviously contentious VAR decisions from the game – like the one that took a PL record amount of time before a decision was made & even then they couldn’t decide & gave it back to the ref! Or maybe Antonio’s second?
Perhaps discuss the referee’s decision to blow his whistle as Kudus was in the process of kicking the ball which then resulted in a goal that was chalked off. Or maybe the bit where the referee booked Mavrapanos for kicking the ball away after the whistle went but didn’t book Zaniolo for throwing the ball away after the whistle went later in the game (when he already had a booking). Or how Kudus managed to get booked after Douglas Louis took a piggyback ride on him as he was breaking for goal?
Villa were lucky to escape with a point & the referees/VAR teams messed up big time.
Every defender just go out to the ball now with both arms 3/4 extended pointing your finger and you will be perfectly fine! I call bollox!
Absolute bollox making it up as they go along
