      Hi ali love your vids. What do you make of paratici’s start to life as spurs’ director of football? Has made some good signings (Kulusevski, Bentancur, Romero) but also some mixed ones (Emerson, Gil, Gollini)

      I can’t believe Ronaldo got into the Premier League team of the year and Son didn’t. Son scored more goals and had no penalties. I’m sure the judges are biased. What does the poor guy have to do?

      I reckon spurs wear their first kit a lot simply cos there are few other teams in the league who also wear predominantly white. Barring Leeds and in recent seasons Fulham there aren’t any teams in the league who wear the same colour as Spurs and thus force them to change kits. As a result Spurs have the option to wear their first kit in the majority of away games and take that option

      Never really got the Ben Davies hate, which is especially undeserved after this season. And if the news are true about him speaking out playing a big part in Nuno's dismissal, we owe him some gratitude. (It must've been an even bigger sh*tshow than we presumed, if such an apparently reserved bloke felt the need to do that. 🤔)

      Thanks Alasdair as always. Question about Conte for when your in Korea with him. Longest he's managed at a club for is three years at Juventus. Does he see that as a weakness of his management style? I.E he cant stay in a job long term as his training methods/tactics loose there appeal with the players. Does he want to do a Ferguson/Wenger and stay at a club for a long time?

      Quite right Ally the Bastoni decision has happened early in the Window. I think we should try and make a deal with Torres and Lo Celso with Villareal then try and sign Kim Min Jae ti fight with Dier for his place,who I rate.
      So the total spend allowing for the p/ex for these 2 will be approx £35m.
      We will then have cover for our Back 3 Romero/Sanchez,Dier/Kim Min Jae,Torres/Davies..

      hi Alasdair, thanks very much for answering my question, but you did not really answer my question as i did not articulate it you in a way any sane human being could understand (i was rushing on my phone before i lost the signal on a train and i apologise for the crazy ramblings)

      So here it is again, hopefully in a way you can understand, i was asking you about certain positions we will hopefully be strengthening in this transfer window, and my question was this, for this instance we will use a striker, as I hope we will be buying a striker this window, who would you buy in this position if money was no object but it has to be a player who could plausibly come, so Mbappe not realistic but Nunez in my opinion would be if we was to stump up the cash and then the second part of the question is what striker would you buy looking at deals that are out there, this guy on free transfer or Jesus or whoever you think Tottenham should go for.

      I have a theory about Bastoni being a red herring. He was in the team that lost dismally to North Macedonia. A game which cost them a place at the World Cup. Why would we shell out in excess of £50 Million for a defender that choked in a big game? I suspect Bremer for £30 or so million has been our main target for a left footed centre back the whole time. And that being the case? it is what I call a TRUE master stroke of Alfred Hitchcock proportions!

      hey Alasdair, Mahir here. Would you agree if I said that Emerson Royal can become a solid right center back under Conte? His defensive positioning and man marking is usually great, and would know how to play out from the back. #coys

      Great video as always Mr Gold. The loans of Skippy to Norwich & Troy Parrot to MK Dons show the difficulty & necessity in identifying the right club. Should we go down the route of what Chelsea did where they loaned primarily to a club to develop as they did in Vitesse Arnhem? Is there anything in the rules that we couldn't loan Tangaga, Parrot etc to Norwich or MK Dons and establish something similar with a single club?

      That comes with going on twitter and reading people's opinions on there about players. I've not heard or read anything negative about hojberg from any spurs fans. We all know we would like him to be better at finishing, scoring goals. But that's not really his role, but it would be nice to see that improve.
