Following a shocking cardiac arrest on the pitch during a match against Bournemouth on December 16, Luton Town’s captain, Tom Lockyer, extended his gratitude to the club staff and doctors for saving his life.

The game was halted in the 59th minute as medical professionals attended to Lockyer, who later acknowledged the “heroic actions” that played a crucial role in his recovery.

After a six-week period, Lockyer made a heartfelt return to Luton’s training ground, where he warmly embraced teammates and staff.

The club documented his return through images and a video on social media, expressing excitement about his presence. The footage captured various moments, including Lockyer’s arrival, interactions with teammates, and his engagement in team activities despite limitations on full training.
