One interesting thought is Jayden Daniels and SP teaming up, I know it's very unlikely been this is dreaming season.
JD absolutely has the tools to run SP's offense plus a bunch of extra tools SP has never had. It could force SP to innovate to suit his new right hand man and it might also reign JD in a little and the two could meet right at that perfect spot. That could be glorious.

You want them to sign a QB that they can't hold down a job when you already have a QB on the roster? I'm not convinced that Darnold or Wilson is any better than Stidham.

I’d say it looks like a first round pick…enough of backup quality or not drafting and developing/ Let’s get Sean Payton his guy and see what happens because he will at least make them better. He’s proven that over and over again.

Yeah I’m assuming Williams, Daniels, Maye are your 1, 2, 3. I would imagine AZ gets Harrison Jr, LA takes somebody like Bowers, a tackle or corner. I doubt JJ McCarthy gets beyond the giants, and Bo Nix goes to Minnesota. I warmed up to McCarthy but I don’t know if we have the capital to move up and get him. I don’t want Penix because the blue screen his processor caused in the championship game combined with bum knees and shoulder. Nix I’d be willing to trust Payton on but wouldn’t be terribly excited either (assuming he’s even there at 12)
I’m also guessing we’re looking at somewhere between a 4 and 6 win season this year. I’m fine with it if they just do a full rebuild and come out the other side finally

Noo Denver shouldn’t get Sam Howell or Zach Wilson or not any of the free agent Qbs but if I had to pick one I would pick Sam Darnold but in my opinion they should draft JJ McCarthy or Bo Nix but I want JJ McCarthy

It's wild that this league is so starved of quality QB play. So much so, teams are out of the 5-6 QB deep draft, as early as 12. Because everyone already knows it's going to be thin next seasons draft.

If Wilson couldn't play in Payton's pro-style disciplined timing scheme do you really think Fields' collegiate run around fumble prone read-idiot option style will?! Go with Stidham for now. Finish building the lines. Be patient and let Payton pick his players.

The Broncos will do what the Broncos will do, BUT I don't want to see an additional warm body vet QB added to the roster. It just muddies everything up. It has the stench of past disastrous moves to bring in warm body vet QBs. No thank you. Push your chips into the middle of the table and get the rookie QB you want.
If by some chance the Broncos draft Drake Maye, then Stidham would be the QB for the entire year. When I hear in combine video interviews with Maye that he says he's fine with sitting for a year and there's a lot of merit to it…..I'd prefer a guy that's chomping at the bit to play, even if he's not ready in the coaches opinion.
But, how would we get Drake Maye? Those low draft we picked up for Jerry could be packaged with first and seconds to sweeten the deal, but I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. BUT, Sean might be able to pull it off. Wow.
If we can't trade up and get a franchise quarterback I opt for a 3-14 year and a top pick next year. If this went my way I'd want on win against the Raiders, one against the Chiefs and please beat the Steelers then we can draft Shedeur and call it good.
