DISCLAIMER: I concede that these probably arenât the 5 fastest red cards of all time, thereâs almost certainly faster reds cards out there, but these were the fastest I could come across – if you have footage of a red card in the same time frame, let me know and Iâll include it in a future video!
Last 2 red, the others no way.
First one was a complete joke of a red. Rest of them fair enough
how on earth was the first a red??? frenchman dropped the shoulder?
diving French frog should've gotten red
I personally dont think the first one was a red
I dont think the second one was really either
Tell the french, refs and players, this is rugby not soccer, go play soccer for your grammies
Some of the games I think some of those ejections are unfair ejections!
What you get from these videos more than anything else is how often the former players in commentary get it wrong.
more clickbait, first one was a bad deciscion, not a red
That Jared Payne one still hurts me. We had a great team that year and should have beaten sarries đ
I don't like Australia at all. I think they are big cry babies, mostly Nick White, but the first red card was undeserved
I'm curious about the two "red card offences" that did not look like red card offences, specifically Koroibete and Ewels. Koroibete, playing for Australia, is sent off by "referee" Ben O'Keeffe, a New Zealander, and Ewels, playing for England, is sent off by "referee" Mathieu Raynal, a Frenchman.
Hrmm.
First never was a red card
The last red card was a clear one, eyes on the opponent âŚ.deliberately
Koroibete really canât tackle đ
But tbf why didnât Jelonch have to go for a HIA ?
Why less and less people watch rugby
Why was the #15 for Ulster sent off. It was a 50/50 ball and both players were going for it. I don't know why players jump up in the air to catch the ball. It should not have been a red card. Rugby needs to get their rules reformed.
Did you just mean in Rugby Union? As Pretty sure the Wigan Warriors v Saint Helens match in which Flowers saw red for Wigan was quicker
Koroibete: Shoulder to the jaw — head/neck red card, all day. Good on the TMO to catch it. Bad for World Rugby to reverse it.
Payne: That was a takeout, not a tackle. Got two weeks for that one as well.
Ewels: And that's why the first one should not have been reversed. Not only was that red for the head-to-head, but three weeks as well.
Wood: Never got an idea as to how long he was banned.
Evans: Four weeks, and that was just for the carelessness of it.

No 1. Ohhh the theatrics !
Last one by far the worst as it is clearly intended and seriously dangerous!! What was the commentator waffling about – clear red even before the recent changes in the law!
The first one is the french players fault he ducked head first into the contact.
Honorable mention to Ben Flower in the 2014 Super League Grand Final.
First man to be sent off in a Grand Final and less than 2 minutes in.
He got a 6 month ban and pretty much ruined his career as well
Mike burton 3 mins england against australia 1975
What an embarrassment of a âcontact sportâ rugby union has become.
Gobsmacked was not the right phrase to use haha classic
First 3 arenât reds
The first one wasnât even a card đ¤Śââď¸đ¤Śââď¸đ¤Śââď¸
Bullcrap
Maybe many of these refs shouldve given themselves the red cardđ
first tackle was literally a perfect tackle it was below the shoulder he wrapped tmo is so blind
Studding the opponents face whilst he was defenceless on the ground should have been reviewed and upgraded to a police investigation for assault.
First red card was a joke, but how the hell can an analyst claim that the last red card in this clip is wrong as it was not intentionalâŚâŚ. It was clearly intentional, the body language was as clear as can be
Last one:
"I would be very disappointed".
For getting a red after planting your studs into the face of an opponent? He was scared of getting tackled after landing, so he decided to prevent it by any means.
Canât lie just clicking on this I was expecting England to be receiving all 5 red cards
Yeah i felt like that last one he lifted his leg on the way down.
Top 5 French milking penalties in Rugby!
That first tackle was perfectly fine, what a pussy. So glad the french fell short in their own hosted RWC.
04:08, that commentator is an idiot. You don't jump up and then stick your leg out so it's horizontal which can catch the face on anyone on the field.
Fastest red card was the red to Warburton,by c##t rolland
The French lay it on thick.
Charlie Ewels was unlucky, he was wrapping arms, but two big blokes there is not a lot of space.
Am I right in saying even if all these at not deliberate they are deserved red cards?
Iâve played rugby for 20 years. I agree that player safety is paramount but these new laws are a joke, clearly made by suits in an office that have never played the game and donât realise how almost impossible it is to âun commitâ your self once youâre committed to a tackle! 99% of these red cards are âunluckyâ and never meant with intent!
First one was completely wrong. there absolutely was mitigation. Always be careful with high tackles against Irish, the always play act to get you sent off.
koroibete card was not a red. silly.
1. French Player.
2. French Ref.
3. French Ref.
