  1. I remember first seeing him at Southamptin with Kevin Phillips up front.
    You coule see the class right away. A very intelligent player, knew how to keep the ball, very good technically, great awareness on the pitch and was a great strike partner. A very decent goalscorer too.
    Very underrated throughout his career.

  2. He had the last laugh though he had a great career and now has a family, lovely wife and financially secure , the lesson is keep pushing yourself to do your best even if people try and knock you down

  3. This happened more than 20 years ago and he still remembers it like it was yesterday. Bullying should be taken more seriously especially when it's against young people.

  4. the funniest thing about the whole crouchie enigma is that the word Crouch means to bend your knees and lower yourself so you are closer to the ground 🤣🤣🤣
