He is one of the five players to be awarded the title Star of the Red Star. He developed into the best player in the league and his stellar performances with the club earned him the title of Zvezdina Zvezda only given out to the very best players in the club’s storied history.
He is one of the best playmaker in all history of football.

From that generation of Yugoslavian players I remember Dragan “Piksi” Stojkovic and I often ask how he and Dejan are doing.
